1. SSC Network Menu

SSNDS provides an extensive range of software resources to all users of the SSC Network. Many of these resources are available to users via the SSC Network extension to the Windows Start menu.  For more information, please refer to the SSC Network Menu.

2. Add Programs from the Network

Users can also add additional software to their computers from the network.  Please refer to Adding Programs From the Network.

3. Web Based Software Installs

The ScanExam-II software and Marks Management Software (MMS) are available for installation from the Add-Remove Programs list for computers on the SSC Network, but they can also be downloaded for installation on non SSC Network computers from our Software Downloads page.  Links to some other downloads are available here as well.

4. Public Access Computer Rooms

Publicly accessible computers, located in the SSNDS teaching and computing rooms, and our remote access servers have applications pre-installed. For a list of these applications and their locations refer to the Pre-installed Software Resources and Locations.

5. Microsoft Software

The Faculty of Social Science has enrolled in a Microsoft Campus License Agreement.  For details on this agreement and what faculty and staff are entitled to, please see the Microsoft Campus Agreement information.
